Warehouse Assistant (Temp)

Temporary Warehouse Assistant
Salary: GBP13.68 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Hours: 8am till 4.30pm Mon to Fri
Monday 30th June 2025 - 6th August 2025 (5.5 weeks work)

Our client is a respected producer in the viticulture and wine industry, known for their high-quality products and efficient supply chain. As the harvest and distribution season ramps up, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join their warehouse team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and labelling wine cases for dispatch
Loading and unloading deliveries
Stock rotation and inventory checks
Assisting with bottling and packaging processes as required
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Working as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred
Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Punctual, reliable, and with a good eye for detail
Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Safety-conscious with an understanding of warehouse best practices
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

Must be reliable and available for the full 5.5 week period as this is a time sensitive timeframe.
