Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire

Type: Full time, Permanent

Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Salary: 45,700 circa



The Company:

My client, a waste management company, is seeking an electrical maintenance engineer to join their team at their Fleetwood site. They operate across 2 sites in the UK, where they value innovative approaches and teamwork to help increase productivity and reduce downtime. You will have the chance to work on multiple projects and you will enjoy an extensive learning and development programme.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and being involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive and planned maintenance.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Performing reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of machinery including pneumatic,hydraulic and automation systems
  • Work with controls and automation
  • Electrical work including fault finding, 3 phase motors and general building maintenance
  • Work on installations and removals across site
  • Assist different departments in their tasks



Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified or higher, in an Electrical Engineering Discipline
  • Previous experience within manufacturing or waste environments
  • PLC knowledge
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Experience working with electrical machinery
