Project & Design Manager - Part-time

Part-time, 22 hours per week

The role of Project and Design Manager is responsible for leading the planning, Execution and delivery of design - lead projects from beginning to end. Ensuring that the design quality is maintained while delivering on time and within budget.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Degree in Design, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in managing design-oriented projects
• Project Management Cert like PRINCE2 or PMP is highly desirable
• Proficient in Project Management tools and design software
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Organisational and leadership skills
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, often working to tight deadlines

Project Management:

• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines
• Monitor progress, resolving issues and provide regular updates
• Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead end to end project life cycle including planning, budgeting, scheduling etc

Design:

• Review and approve design concepts, drawings etc
• Translate company needs and objectives
• Ensure adherence to design standards, best practice etc
