• Work Type: Immediate Start
• Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST4
• Pay: GBP14p/h to GBP16.81p/h
• Shift: Days 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 3:30pm on Fridays.
• Contract Type: Temporary ongoing (Possible permanent position for the right candidate).

Proactive Personnel Ltd are recruiting for experienced structural steel fabricator to join our clients fabrication team based in the ST4 area.

The company are a family run engineering business, with more than 30 years experience and expertise in engineering. Working on a range of projects in structural fabrication. Working from detailed engineering drawings/schematics and working with a highly skilled/experienced fabrication team to complete projects to a high quality standard.

This would be starting on a 12 week work placement through Proactive with a permanent position with the company for the right successful candidate.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a structural steel fabricator is essential Minimum 5 years.
• Proven experience in heavy duty fabrication is essential.
• Proven and confident working from engineering drawings is essential.
• Proven experience working with plasma torches, water jets, laser cutters & using Oxy-Acetylene is a must.
• Experience measuring steel and ability to cut down materials when needed is a must.
• Working as part of a team or on your own.
• Ability to hit the ground running.
• Must be reliable and hardworking.
