Mechanical Fitter

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters/Assemblers on behalf of one of our prestigious clients, who are a Trailer manufacturer in the ST3 area.

What will you be doing?

• Assembling & fitting of Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatics systems/components onto HGV Trailers.
• Working from detailed and technical schematics/drawings and working to precise specifications.
• Making sure all work is completed to a high quality and accurately.
• Quality checking all work completed and resolving any issues that may have arisen.
• Working as part of a team and/or on your own to finish work within a timely and efficient manner.

What will you need to succeed for this role?

• You will need to have proven previous experience within Mechanical assembly or fitting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Mechanical processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulics and Pneumatic Systems.
• A good keen eye to detail and precision in your work.
• Previous experience and good understanding in reading/working with engineering drawings.
• Experience working with various hand, power & air tools.
• Ability to work on your own or a part of a team.

What's in it for you?

• Hourly rate starting out 12.60p/h up to 14.50p/h dependent on experience.
• Overtime paid at a premium.
