Class 2 Driver

Proactive Personnel Wolverhampton are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers on a temporary ongoing basis. The roles we have will involve morning starts and you will be responsible for delivering the likes of automotive and/or steel products to various clients around the UK.

THE JOB ROLE:

• Completing relevant paperwork
• Automotive, Cage work, curtain sider or Flat Bed (Steel)
• Collections/deliveries
• Vehicle Checks are required before and after shifts
• 40+ hours a week around 05:00am-09:00am start times till finish
• Ranging from 2 8 drops per day
• Local or nationwide driving
• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Weekend work available
• No Nights out required
• Deliveries to similar areas to same customers on regular basis
• Securing steel loads down straps and ratchets
• Reporting any faults or problems to transport manager

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

• In-date CPC is essential
• Digi tachograph card holder
• Maximum 6 Points on Driving Licence
• Up to date CV with previous work history is ideal
• PPE (Hi-Vis, Safety boots, etc )
• 6 months Class 2 experience is necessary
