This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing business known for delivering high-value products to a global customer base. As Senior Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are available in line with production requirements through effective demand planning, forecasting, and inbound scheduling. This is a pivotal position within a highly collaborative supply chain function, offering the chance to make a real impact on operational performance and delivery.

As the Materials Planner, you will be getting involved in:

• Develop accurate demand forecasts to drive material planning and support production schedules
• Generate and manage supply plans, ensuring on-time availability of inbound materials and components
• Collaborate with procurement and supplier teams to mitigate risks and resolve delivery issues
• Translate production requirements into clear, time-phased material schedules
• Optimise inventory levels to balance availability, production needs, and working capital targets
• Support the introduction of new products and engineering changes with robust planning
• Drive improvements in planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and supply reliability
• Monitor planning KPIs and provide data-led insights to improve decision-making

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Proven experience in a planning, forecasting, or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in similar roles such as Supply Chain Planner / Supply Chain Coordinator / Materials Planner / Materials Manager / Materials Planning Lead / Supply Planner / Demand Planner / Supply Chain Coordinator / Materials Scheduler
• Strong understanding of demand planning, MRP/ERP systems, and material scheduling
• Track record of improving forecast accuracy and aligning planning with production performance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and engineering teams
