JOB- CAD Technician
LOCATION- Colchester
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- 30,000 to 40,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join an established engineering company based in Colchester . This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic design team working on a range of technical drawings and layouts.

The CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

A background in Engineering, Design, or Construction
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D desirable)
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good communication and team-working skills
Experience working within a design office or technical environment

The CAD Technician role will involve:

Producing and updating 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD
Supporting the design and engineering team with layout drawings and documentation
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards
Liaising with engineers, project managers, and other departments
Maintaining drawing registers and version control
