Our client, a respected name in the automotive and motorsport industry, is looking for a capable Management Accountant to join their finance team for a maternity cover contract. Based at their impressive facility near Chipping Warden, this is a full-time, office-based role supporting the business through a busy and exciting period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
- Perform detailed job costing and margin analysis to support operational teams
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts including accruals and prepayments
- Manage intercompany charges and reconciliations
- Create, update, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and dashboards
- Lead on VAT returns and other statutory submissions
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including bank reconciliations and payment processing
- Support the annual budget and forecasting process
- Liaise with department heads to provide accurate and timely financial insight
- Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting
- AAT qualified (or working towards ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven experience in a management accounting or similar role
- Expert-level Excel skills confident building complex formulas, pivot tables, and dynamic models
- Familiarity with Sage 200 (desirable but not essential)
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across departments
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Competitive salary of GBP35,000 GBP45,000 (DOE)
