Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our clients' dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring a high-quality finish while adhering to safety and operational standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and curing ovens, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in powder coating or similar experience in an industrial work environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
