Role and Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias), you'll play a crucial role in keeping production equipment running efficiently. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll handle both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility.

Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and site systems

Completing planned maintenance schedules using CMMS

Responding to breakdowns and fault-finding during shifts

Installing and commissioning new equipment

Supporting automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensuring all work complies with H&S, audit, and quality standards

Documenting all maintenance work and updating logs

Assisting with mechanical work as required across departments
Required Skills and Experience

Electrical bias with a strong multi-skilled background
-
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
(essential)
-
C&G Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment

Confident in fault finding on PLCs, motors, drives, pumps

Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, ovens, or blow moulders is a plus

Solid understanding of health and safety standards

Apprentice trained preferred, but not essential
