Welding Lecturer - Casual


CASUAL WELDING LECTURER

Hours: 6-9 PM one evening per week

Salary: GBP32.27 or GBP28.81 per hour

  • Qualified to level 3 in MIG, TIG and ARC welding processes.
  • Can weld plate and pipe in a variety of positions

This is a teaching role which involves workshop learning, your priority will be to engage and inspire our students to achieve their full potential. On a typical evening you will be:

  • Demonstrating and teaching practical skills in our Welding workshop
  • Plate welding lap welds, fillet welds, open corner welds in a variety of weld positions
  • Pipe welding 1G,2G, 5G, 6G in all welding processes
  • Carry out destructive testing of students completed welds

Relevant industrial experience would be invaluable, along with experience of sharing your skills in an educational/training environment.
