Role Overview

As a Wax Operative, you ll use tools and machines to make wax parts for metal castings. You'll follow clear instructions to create high-quality products and help keep production running smoothly.

• Perform at least one of the following tasks:

  • Chill press / Main press

  • X-ray or CMM operations

  • Riser press or preparation

  • Wax inspection or wax fill

  • Assembly and feeding

  • Fraze and water spider work

• Hand-finish wax products to a high standard

• Follow instructions from managers and technical cards

• Understand wax materials and how they affect final products

• Work safely and follow health and safety rules

• Help train others and share your knowledge

• Keep your work area clean and organized

• Support company goals for quality and continuous improvement

• Do other tasks as needed

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Good communication and attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure

• Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods

• Able to read and follow detailed instructions

• Basic computer skills

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with wax processes

• Experience with X-ray equipment, CMM, or CNC machines

• Use of software like Q-Pulse, Sypro, and Radview

• Supervisory experience is a plus

Hours of Work: Days

• Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:00

Rate of pay:

• GBP14.49ph
