FLT C/B Clamped Truck Driver Needed

More recruitment are working with a client based in Rugby who are looking for experienced Counterbalance drivers with clamp truck experience to join their team on a temp to perm basis. You will work 12 week with the agency before being offered permanent work for the right candidates.

The client is a global retailer with warehouse club operations in eight countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Shifts: Monday - Friday days shifts starting at 8.00- 16:30. No bank holiday or weekend working.

Pay rate: 14.20 ph

Responsibilities for the role:

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse (clamp truck forklift)
• Load and unload materials from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
• Perform regular inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using a warehouse management system.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all items are accounted for and correctly documented.
• Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Requirements for the role:

• You must have at least 1 years experience in CB clamp truck
• You must be looking for full time permanent work
• Own transport desirable due to location
• You will need to be ok with working the shifts above
• You will need good verbal and written communication skills
