This role is perfect for a competent Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer looking to contribute to the smooth running of a major player in the FMCG industry. The candidate will be a fundamental part of the Engineering & Manufacturing Department, ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.

Description

  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
  • Diagnose faults, repair or replace equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing Department.
  • Collaborate with other team members to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance work carried out.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members as required.
  • Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-outs when necessary.

Profile

A successful Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
