About the Role:
We are looking for a Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. This role offers the opportunity to support people with a range of complex care needs, promoting independence while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will assist with a variety of health, personal, and emotional care needs, tailored to each client s individual care plan. If you're someone who thrives on providing high-quality, compassionate care, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Support: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while ensuring respect for the client s privacy and dignity.
  • Health Assistance: Monitor and manage medical conditions, administer medications, assist with mobility, and use medical equipment where required.
  • Tailored Care: Provide care for individuals with complex health needs such as neurological disorders, dementia, physical disabilities, and long-term health conditions.
  • Emotional Wellbeing: Offer companionship, encourage positive mental health, and help clients maintain their emotional wellbeing.
  • Daily Tasks: Support clients with household chores, meal preparation, and shopping to maintain a clean and independent lifestyle.
  • Care Records: Accurately document care provided, ensuring up-to-date records and clear communication with healthcare teams.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience in complex care or a similar setting (preferred but not essential).
  • A compassionate and patient nature with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A valid UK driving licence (preferred).
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
