Job Opportunity: Hygiene Team Leader
Location: Bunwell near Attleborough
Salary: 14.04 plus the 50 attendance bonus
Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:30 - 22:30

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our clients team in Bunwell.

Be a lead and oversee the hygiene operation. Be responsible for managing your team to provide high standards of hygiene throughout the factory. Reporting back to management any hygiene issues and carrying out meetings with production and engineering teams to schedule works.

This role is suited to candidates who are comfortable working with poultry in a food processing environment

Qualifications/ Training:

• COSHH
• Use of pressure washers

Main Duties

• Industrial cleaning processes for poultry factory environment.
• Ensuring food safety and accrediting body standards are met.
• Quality inspections of cleanliness.
• Reporting hygiene issues and corrective actions weekly.
• Identifying engineer issues, prioritising and reporting accordingly.
• Water testing by taking samples weekly.
• Managing low level personnel issues and escalating to management where appropriate.
• Ensure paperwork is fully completed.
• Training and development of the teams' skill set.
• Ensure factory is left suitable for startup.
• Ensure the teams' health & safety.
• Report any health & safety issues to management.
• Working with Technical and Production Manager to monitor and improve factory hygiene swabs.
• Report findings from management back to hygiene team.
• Close the loop with recording of corrective actions undertaken.
• Help develop, monitor and maintain KPIs.
• Help organise weekend deep cleaning regime/structure.
• Ensure efficiency of products and chemicals used.
• Monitor chemical stock levels and request orders as required.

Experience

• Previous hygiene experience desirable
