Maintenance Engineer

Join a leading manufacturer as a Maintenance Engineer and become part of a high-performing engineering team. You'll work to ensure minimal downtime on a busy production site, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?

• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs in a manufacturing and engineering environment
• Supporting site-wide planned and reactive maintenance (PPM systems)
• Working with hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, motors and gearboxes
• Servicing and repair a variety of production machinery
• Electrical fault finding
• Coordinating maintenance activity with internal departments

What do you need?

• Time-served apprenticeship (C&G/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical)
• Proven experience in a multiskilled maintenance role
• Knowledge of PPM systems and engineering best practices
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and follow job instructions
