Welder Fabricator

We re hiring for a Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team at their site based in Bury.

If you ve got experience with MIG/TIG welding and a background in metal fabrication, this could be a great opportunity to join a company that values quality, precision, and its people.

• GBP18.00 - GBP20.00 per hour
• Monday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)

What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator?

• MIG and TIG welding on stainless and mild steel from 1.5mm to 5mm
• Fabrication work ranging from full builds to guillotining, press brake folding and rolling
• Working on large-scale ducting systems and bespoke metalwork
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Supporting the team with high-quality, precision welding and assembly tasks

What do you need?

• Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to work with stainless and mild steel
• Strong fabrication skills across various processes (guillotine, folding, rolling, etc.)
• Ideally previously coded in welding (desirable)
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and within a team
