Flt Counterbalance Driver

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated CB FLT Driver for a client based near Much Wenlock. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of factory operations and the ability to handle various materials. It is advantageous for candidates to have a drivers licence due to the location of the plant.

The hours will be Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 7am-4pm

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift truck to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload machines with materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Assist with inventory management and organisation.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report any issues
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading materials.
• Competence in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Strong materials handling skills to ensure safe transport of goods.
