What the Bookkeeper job involves

• Managing bookkeeping for a variety of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
• Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
• Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
• Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide guidance
• Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting duties

If you ve previously run your own bookkeeping business, your ability to manage relationships, prioritise workloads, and deliver high-quality service will make you a perfect fit here.

Skills required

• Proven bookkeeping experience within a practice environment OR as a self-employed bookkeeper with your own clients
• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping principles and VAT
• Strong IT skills and experience using accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks etc.)
• A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine desire to help clients succeed
• Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

• Full time Monday to Friday
