About the role of Sales Consultant at JT Dove:

We have an exciting opening for an ambitious, motivated individual to join the sales team at our Hetton branch.

The main duties for this role include:

Selling the full range of products to both retail and trade customers.

Work towards set sales targets.

Monitoring results and identifying improvement opportunities.

Interpreting customer needs accurately.

Responding quickly and efficiently to customer enquiries.

Ensuring accurate pricing of orders.

Managing accounts and stock on a day-to-day basis

Contributing to the success of the branch.

Developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers

Providing excellent customer service at all times within a fast-moving environment

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous customer service and/or sales experience, ideally from a merchant background

Strong communication skills

Proven track record selling and negotiating, both in person and over the phone

An interest in developing a career in a busy sales environment

Real passion to deliver excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone

Natural drive for achieving targets

The ability to be resilient and adaptable with the ability to juggle changing priorities

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
