Senior Electronics Engineer

Role

Senior Electronics Engineer based in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.

You'll design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems and play a key role in taking products from concept through to real-world deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable electronics systems for complex electro mechanical products
• Assume technical leadership in department R&D
• Mentor Junior Engineers
• Support production through DFM, DFT
• Introduce new technologies and drive innovation
• Interface with external partners to meet regulatory and certification standards
• Support customers with technical queries and field issues

Person

• Strong background in electronics / hardware with proven experience delivering production ready electronic systems
• PCB design capability with hands-on skills (e.g. soldering, rework, prototype assembly)
• Autonomous, self-motivated, organised Engineer
