ISQ Recruitment is supporting a leading manufacturer in the plastic packaging industry with their search for a Workshop / Tool Room Supervisor . You would be joining a skilled team and an innovative business with a strong focus on quality and sustainability.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining and developing a high-performing tooling department within a dynamic production environment.

The successful candidate must have a full UK driving license , access to their own vehicle , and full Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).

Role Duties
  • Support toolroom operations and keep management informed.
  • Assist in tooling production and machining process development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support.
  • Foster a stable and supportive environment for toolmakers and apprentices.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and train apprentices and new team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through reporting and innovation.
Qualifications & Criteria
  • Background in precision engineering, toolmaking, or CNC machining with relevant qualifications.
  • Strong supervisory and technical skills, with clear communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Able to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, solution-driven mindset.
  • Reliable, professional, and accountable in all responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and committed to high standards of work.
  • Adaptable, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Safety-focused and committed to maintaining best practices.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle required.
