Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, Friday 08:00 - 13:30

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in assembly & quality control operations. We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team. As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient assembly of products, adhering to quality control standards, and maintaining a high level of precision.

Responsibilities:

Perform assembly operations according to established procedures and guidelines.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
Utilise a microscope to inspect and identify any defects or abnormalities.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth assembly line operations.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of production and quality control activities.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Assembly Operative or in a similar role
Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
Previous experience using a microscope for inspection purposes is essential.
Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
High school diploma or equivalent qualification

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of assembly line operations and machinery
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
