Administrator - Billing Fraud
Full-Time, Temporary position
Based in Manchester

We are working with a leading UK-based law firm to find a Billing Administrator to support their growing Counter Fraud team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a recognised, specialist legal practice and make a real impact by supporting the enforcement team with accurate and timely billing operations. Our client specialises in providing legal services to the insurance industry, with a strong focus on defendant litigation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution across a wide range of sectors.



Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process billing for a range of clients in line with individual client requirements

  • Chase and manage outstanding invoices

  • Maintain and organise financial documentation

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients

  • Ensure all billing and financial processes adhere to Solicitors Accounts Rules

  • Support the team during peak periods and provide cover when required

  • Assist in breaking down and processing recovered monies

  • Manage financial transactions through the internal accounts system



What We're Looking For

  • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

  • Organised, methodical, and able to manage competing priorities

  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous billing or accounts experience is advantageous but not essential

  • Experience with Aderant systems is a plus
