Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled
Workshop Crane Engineer
to join our team based in MK18. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
service, repair, inspection, and testing
of a wide range of workshop and overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair faults on various crane systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
Carry out routine maintenance and LOLER inspections.
Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
Support the workshop team with crane builds, refurbishments, and modifications.
Maintain health and safety compliance at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
LOLER and PUWER knowledge essential.
Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence (preferred for future site visits).
