Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Slough

Salary: GBP85-GBP100 per day

Start Date: September 2025

Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of young people with additional needs? GSL Education is currently looking to appoint a number of SEN Teaching Assistants to support our inclusive and well-established client schools in Slough , starting from September 2025 .

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will possess the following:

• Bring a minimum of one year s experience supporting individuals with SEN, either in schools, childcare, or care environments

• Be a motivated and compassionate professional who is passionate about helping learners thrive

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with emotional and behavioural needs , helping them access the curriculum

• Demonstrate a high level of care, resilience, and commitment to supporting diverse learners

• Be comfortable working with children who need tailored behavioural and emotional support

• Be a team player with a sense of humour and a genuine interest in supporting young people

• Support students in line with individual learning plans, while also helping to track progress and engagement

Applicants are required to have the following:

• Be patient, energetic , and confident managing behaviour

• Have the Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service , or be open to applying for one through GSL Education

• Be able to provide at least one professional, school-based reference
