Exciting Opportunity for a Support Manager in Prestwood!

GSL Education Watford is seeking a number of dynamic and experienced Support Manager to join our client schools in Prestwood . This role presents a fantastic opportunity to provide leadership and support to students within the school community.

As the Head of Support Manager , your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and coordinate the support services for students across the school, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Act as a central point of contact for staff, students, and families regarding support provisions.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to implement effective intervention strategies.
• Monitor student progress, behaviour, and well-being, responding to concerns with timely and appropriate action.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school culture, aligned with safeguarding policies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a student support, welfare, or pastoral care role within an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and supporting students with diverse needs.
• Ability to manage and coordinate support plans for individual students, including liaising with external agencies.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• A compassionate, approachable, and professional manner, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Must hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
