Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: GBP90 - GBP150 per day

Start Date: September 2025

We at GSL Education would like to hear from you if you have recent experience of working within a Secondary setting and a qualified HLTA or be willing to complete the relevant qualification.

You will be dedicated and passionate individual who is passionate about teaching and learning in an inclusive environment to ensure that all children achieve their very best.

In order to be considered you will need:

• English language reading and comprehension to GCSE standard
• Numeracy skills to GCSE standard
• A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum
• Specialisation in computing (will be prioritized)
• Experience in a similar setting, either as a 1:1 or overseeing a group
• Transferable skills of working with adults or children that need emotional support
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Learning Support or equivalent (ideal, not essential)
• Team teach (ideal, not essential)
