GSL Education are currently seeking a qualified and caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early year setting in St Leonards starting in September 2025 . This full-time, long-term role offers a rewarding opportunity to support the development, wellbeing, and learning of children in a safe and stimulating environment.

Role Overview:

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner , you will play a key role in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You ll work closely with colleagues and parents to create a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Your Responsibilities as a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:

• Provide care and engaging learning experiences for young children, following the EYFS framework.
• Plan creative, play-based learning experiences tailored to individual needs.
• Support children s personal, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of children s progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and hygienic environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to uphold best practices and meet safeguarding requirements.

Candidate Requirements for Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:

• Level 3 qualifications in Childcare or Early Years Education are mandatory.
• Experience working within early years or nursery setting.
• A warm, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years , with all the gaps explained.
