GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join a warm and welcoming Early Years setting in St Leonards from September . This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0 5.

Role Overview:
As a Nursery Practitioner , you ll play a vital role in supporting young children through play-based learning, encouraging their emotional, social, and cognitive development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .

Responsibilities as Nursery Practitioner:

• Support children s development through age-appropriate activities and routines.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider team.
• Contribute to planning, observations, and progress reports.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence.

Requirements for Nursery Practitioner:

• Hold a relevant Early Years qualification.
• Have experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Demonstrate patience, warmth, and excellent communication skills.
• Hold a full, up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with explanations for any gaps).
• Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
