Salary Scale: GBP31,650 to GBP49,084 annually

A dedicated primary special school in Hilsea for children with complex learning difficulties , where the vast majority of pupils are autistic and have severe learning difficulties (SLD), is looking for a n SEN Teacher . Every day, you will work with the team and create a safe, nurturing, and highly engaging environment where pupils can thrive both academically and emotionally.

We are looking for a creative, empathetic, and enthusiastic SEN Teacher who can:

• Design and deliver a bespoke curriculum that meets the individual needs of our pupils
• Use visual supports, practical activities, objects of reference, and symbols to build communication skills and understanding
• Help children understand similarities and differences in the world around them
• Promote relationship-building at school, home, and in the community
• Bring learning to life through hands-on, meaningful experiences that reflect each child s interests and developmental stage

Your Role as SEN Teacher:

• Understand every child as an individual with unique strengths, communication needs, and sensory profiles.
• Create a classroom culture where learning is accessible, engaging, and joyful.
• Work closely with families, therapists, and other professionals to deliver truly child-centred education.
