GSL Education are currently recruiting a KS 1 Teaching Assistant to work in supportive schools around Gainsborough . The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy encouraging young learners during their early years of education.

Responsibilities as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:

• Support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, either 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide pastoral and academic support tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with phonics, reading, numeracy and creative activities.

Requirements for KS1 Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Passionate about early education and child development.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
• Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
