Location: APU, Chesterfield (Must Drive)
Pay Rate: GBP90 GBP110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a proactive and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school environment in Chesterfield . This role is ideal for someone with experience in primary education who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute meaningfully to pupil development.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 under the guidance of class teachers.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support, including for pupils with SEN.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to pupil assessment and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with staff and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to support a broad range of curriculum areas.
• Must have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel to Chesterfield.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with all gaps explained.
