Salary Range: GBP95 - GBP110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS) to join a welcoming early year setting in Littleover. This role is ideal for someone who holds a relevant childcare qualification and has experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage .

Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through play-based and structured learning.
• Assist with the personal, social, and emotional development of young children.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Help with daily routines, including toileting, snack times, and transitions
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and planning
• Work closely with the class teacher and other nursery staff to deliver inclusive support.
• Foster strong relationships with children, staff, and families.

Requirements:

• A relevant childcare or early years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning).
• Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
• A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding of early childhood development and safeguarding practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
