GSL Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, compassionate, and eager to support the academic and personal development of students in a dynamic classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

• Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help them reach their potential
• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support school policies
• Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to student progress records

Requirements:

• Experience working in a school setting or with young people is desirable
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in supporting secondary school students
