GSL Education are looking for a nurturing and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming early year setting located in Sheffield . This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children and wants to help shape their learning in the foundation stage.

Role Overview:
As an Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA) , you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception), helping them develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills through creative and structured activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom setup, daily routines, and learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and EYFS team to deliver high-quality provision.

Requirements for EYFS TA:

• Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
• Good understanding of early childhood development and learning strategies.
• An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
