In this role, you ll have the chance to teach in a variety of classroom settings, learn from experienced educators, and work with students across different age groups and abilities. It s an ideal platform to refine your teaching techniques, gain curriculum insight, and develop strong behaviour management strategies, while making a genuine difference in the classroom.

Responsibilities of an Early Career Teacher (ECT):

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated and supported.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, giving constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour in a calm and consistent manner.
• Collaborate effectively with other staff and contribute to the school s wider goals.

Requirements for Early Career Teacher (ECT):

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Subject specialism in any area of the curriculum (core or foundation subjects).
• A reflective, proactive, and professional approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection protocols.

• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
