Salary: GBP13.68 - GBP16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

1:1 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with special educational needs.
• Implement strategies outlined in the student's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to deliver consistent support.
• Encourage social and emotional development, communication, and independence.
• Support personal care needs, where required, with dignity and professionalism.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

1:1 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children with additional needs, preferably on a 1:1 basis.
• CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistance, Childcare, or Health & Social Care is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children with varying needs.
