Salary: GBP90 GBP100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time Long-term

GSL Education is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join a highly supportive Special Needs School in Wandsworth. Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and day-to-day health support for pupils with complex physical needs.
• Supporting students with PEG feeding and other medical interventions (training can be provided).
• Essential Must have experience in suction training and be confident using medical equipment.
• Supporting teachers and staff in delivering an inclusive learning experience.
• Assisting with communication and mobility, ensuring all pupils feel safe and supported.
• Helping maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in suction training is essential.
• Background in healthcare, nursing, or SEN education is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting children or young adults with PMLD, ASC, or medical needs.
• Able to provide personal and medical care confidently and respectfully.
• Calm, patient, and positive with a proactive mindset.
• Available to work Monday to Friday during school hours (8:30 AM 3:30 PM).
