Job Title: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea
Salary: GBP90 - GBP110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A nurturing and inclusive nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their early years team. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through engaging, play-based learning.
• Assist in planning and setting up stimulating activities that support children s development.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Support children s personal care routines and promote independence.
• Observe and contribute to assessments and learning journals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure every child thrives.

Requirements:

• A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
• A caring, patient, and energetic attitude.
• Basic understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
