A welcoming and supportive primary school in Rotherham is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and classroom activities.
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
• Help manage behaviour positively and effectively.
• Assist with planning, preparing resources, and adapting materials for learning needs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Track and report on pupil progress as directed by the teacher or SENCO.
• Contribute to the overall well-being and development of all pupils.

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children in a primary or early years setting.
• A caring, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to inclusive education.
• Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
