Job Title: Maths ECT

Pay rate: GBP125 - GBP225 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Daily Supply, Long-Term

As an ECT in Mathematics , you will take on a vital teaching role, delivering well-structured and inspiring lessons that foster a positive attitude towards numerical learning. You will be given the tools, mentoring, and space to grow as a professional while contributing meaningfully to the academic journey of your pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to a range of learning needs.
• Cultivate a classroom environment that supports curiosity, discipline, and confidence in numeracy.
• Employ effective teaching strategies to support progress and retention.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development.
• Monitor pupil development and provide constructive feedback.
• Embrace a commitment to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Completion of Initial Teacher Training and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS.
• Previous school-based experience teaching Maths as an ECT is required.
• A strong academic background and a keen interest in mathematical education.
• A passion for helping pupils reach their full potential through inclusive and inspiring teaching.
• Excellent communication, time management, and classroom organisation skills.
• A current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
