Salary: GBP155 - GBP220 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Geography Teacher , you will lead engaging lessons that cover a range of geographical themes, including physical processes, human development, sustainability, and global challenges. You will help students develop a sense of place, environmental awareness, and geographical skills that support critical thinking and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster geographical thinking through fieldwork, case studies, and enquiry-based learning.
• Monitor student progress, set ambitious targets, and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes academic and personal growth.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Engage in continuous professional development and departmental collaboration.

Job Requirements:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Degree in Geography or a closely related field.
• Experience teaching Geography in a
• school setting.
• Sound knowledge of the national curriculum for Geography, including recent developments.
• A strong classroom presence and a passion for geography education.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and high student achievement.
• Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
