Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students' behaviour and well-being? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a local school based in Christchurch immediately to support students' social and emotional development.
About the College:
This specialist school, rated "Good" by Ofsted, supports children aged 6 to 16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as other challenges like ADHD, autism, and trauma. The school offers a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, with a trauma-informed approach and strong focus on relationships, wellbeing, and personal growth. Learners take part in a wide range of enriching activities, and staff work closely with families to help every child build confidence, achieve their goals, and prepare for the future.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment for students. This includes supporting with their education, but also their holistic development, such as students communication, social skills and independence.
