Salary: GBP95 - GBP110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor (CS) to support students at a welcoming school in Rotherham . In this role, you will help students learn and grow, ensuring each day in the classroom is engaging and productive. You will play an important part in creating a positive and structured learning environment, helping students feel confident and supported. Using your skills, you will guide them through lessons, answer questions, and maintain a focused classroom atmosphere. We provide a supportive workplace where your efforts are valued, and you can make a real difference in students' education.

Duties of the Role:

• Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects at the secondary school level.
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment , following school policies.
• Support students with their learning, ensuring they complete assigned work.
• Handle classroom behaviour effectively , promoting respect and engagement.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and classroom behaviour.
• Assist with general school duties, such as break-time supervision when required.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
• A passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting (preferred but not essential).
• A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not required.
• The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
