GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and motivated PE Teachers to work in secondary schools across Hull , starting from September 2025 . Whether you're looking for a full-time, part-time, day-to-day supply, or long-term opportunity, we d love to support your teaching journey.

As a PE Teacher , you ll be delivering a broad and inclusive PE curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, fostering skills in a range of sports, fitness, and physical health. You will support students in developing their confidence, resilience, and personal achievement through sport and exercise.

To be a successful Physical Education (PE) Teacher, what you have to do:

• Teach PE across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Plan and deliver a diverse PE curriculum, including team and individual sports
• Promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, and student wellbeing
• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and school competitions
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback and support for improvement
• Create an inclusive and encouraging environment for all students
• Work collaboratively with other staff to enhance whole-school initiatives

Teacher of PE Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
• A degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Previous experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
• Sports coaching experience in UK schools or with young people is desirable
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
