Long Term Futures is recruiting a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Chesterfield. This rewarding role supports KS3 and KS4 students who have struggled in mainstream education.

The Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths lessons.
• Teach small groups (around 10 students) for a more focused and supportive environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet a variety of learning needs and abilities.
• Build strong, positive relationships to encourage students back into education.
• Work collaboratively within a small, experienced team committed to student progress.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) .
• Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 .
• A flexible and resilient attitude with a passion for supporting young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).
• Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
• A full UK driving licence with business insurance (essential).
