Automotive Embroidery Trimmer Specialist

Position Description:

This is an opportunity for an embroidery specialist to join our Client s team to support a new and growing workstream. The candidate will be expected to develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production.

Skills Required:

• Embroidery digitising.
• Experience of DG16 Tagima software.
• Experience of creating artwork, stitch paths, stitch types to meet a brief.
• Experience of all aspects of machine and hand sewing, preferably durkopp experience, is desirable.
• Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles, is desirable.
• Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly is desirable.

Experience Required:

• Experience of digitising artwork to generate physical embroidery samples.
• Working knowledge of hand embroidery.
• Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs, CAD drawings and colour call outs.
• Experience of threads, textiles, leather variants and materials suited to the automotive industry.
• Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
• Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management.
